Mobility strategy

A comprehensive mobility strategy is imperative (15/10/2015)

Today, no matter where one is located, it is essential to have access to the internet, cloud and company data, and be able to communicate with co-workers, associates and clients. Fundamental to this is having in place a leading edge mobility strategy.

“A mobility strategy optimises efficiency and ensures that should a device be lost, stolen or damaged, communication continues. It ensures maximum performance of a company and its people at all times,” explains Kim Greyling, Business Analyst for EES Africa (Pty) Ltd.

Positive expectations for 2015 after an eventful year

An eventful, inspiring and motivating 2014 has passed by at great speed and it is difficult to believe the festive season and a relaxing break are almost upon us! We at EES Africa (Pty) Ltd thank our clients and colleagues for your invaluable support this year. We have very positive expectations for 2015 as, together with our associates, we continue our exciting endeavors in project management, engineering and auditing services.

This month’s white paper is written by EES Intern, Alsuelo Hunter, who is currently studying a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He is specialising in light current and the ICT field in addition to covering the essential electrical field. ‘The distribution board story’ outlines the typical components of a distribution board. It also covers the manner in which it is built in order to divide the main incoming current into subsidiary currents for further distribution in a safe manner. Please download the paper which is on our website too.

Having in place a mobility strategy to ensure employees can be in communication no matter where they may be is fundamental to IT technology today. This necessity and the way in which it enables a company to perform at maximum capacity are described in our mobility release. If you have any comments or suggestions on this topic, please feel free to communicate with us.

May you and your families have a happy Christmas as we all rest and prepare for a great 2015! Be safe and take care.
